Running data loads using the Loader tab

The functionality under the Loader tab allows you to execute a previously created data load script and monitor its progress during processing.

Procedure

1. In iLoader, click the Loader tab.
2. Select the script to be run from the Scriptsets drop-down list and click the Run button to begin loading the data.

As each line of the script is executed, you can follow its progress in the Loader screen as the load continues.

If an error is encountered during the load process, an error message is generated and displayed in red in the Loader text box.

Run

Click Run to initiate the load process.

Info Log

Click the Info Log button to display information on how many records were loaded and the processes performed on the imported database.

Error Log

Displays a list of error messages generated during the database import process. When errors have been generated during a data load they are written to a file called import.log that is created in the root of the repository. If there are no errors, the error log file is not generated.
